Happy New Year Plus Prayer Request

Dear Friends,

Merry belated Christmas and happy New Year. We wish you Gods richest blessings for the new year.

Unfortunately due to unexpected circumstances we were not able to send a Christmas card or letter this year.

Two weeks ago we received word that Huntley’s parents were facing critical medical issues. Dad has congestive heart failure and his heart is currently functioning at only 20%. In addition to this, mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. As the saying goes when it rains it pours.

We packed up as quickly as we could in order to make an emergency trip to Jamaica to spend Christmas with mom and dad. Praise God He provided a way for us to make this unexpected journey. It was such a blessing to spend the holiday with them. It was also great to see some old friends again.

In Exodus 17 Moses was fighting the battle of Rephedim. As long as his hands were in the air they were winning, when his arms came down they were losing. Victory did not rest on the battle field even though that was important, victory rested with his hands in the air. During the battle his hands got tired but two friends (Aaron and Hur) came alongside him and held up his hands until they had victory.

We really need Aarons and Hurs now. To be honest we are physically and emotionally drained and could use all the prayer support we can get. Please pray for wisdom because there are many decisions to be made.

Having your parents struggle like this is not an easy burden to bear. However we know all families take this journey in some way shape or form. We have heard from other families taking similar journeys right now and we will stand in the gap for you as well. God bless you richly and we wish you the best for the new year.

In Prayer,
Huntley, Annette, Natalie, Natasha, Nicole & Nadia Brow
